From 21 June 2025, Service 984 will be extended and operate as an Intra-town Service to improve inter-town connectivity within Asterwale town.

Service 984A plies the Northern Loop; Asterwale Central, Asterwale Crescent, Asterwale Way, Jalan Rumah Rendah (newly extended), and Jalan Bukit Kecil.

Service 984B plies the newly launched Southern Loop; Asterwale Central, Asterwale Canal Drive, Asterwale Boulevard, and Asterwale Reservoir Drive.

Commuters travelling between the Northern and Southern Loops can continue their journey on Service 984.
